Para Encontrar Un Rumbo Diferente…

Acabo de regresar a casa después de otra buena cena con mi amiga y maestra de español, Delia. Cenamos cada mez para platicar en español y cada vez me hace sentir mucho mejor, porque aprendo mas y me pongo mas cómodo con la idioma. Pero esta vez, le pregunté unas pocas preguntas sobre las letras de algunas canciones que he estado estudiando recientemente; incluyendo la letras del disco Lunático del grupo Gotan Project.

Compré este disco hace tres años mientras estaba en Barcelona, España. Ahora y desde entonces, me he gustado este disco. La música es de un grupo de Argentina y cuando lo escucho, sueño de un día que puedo ir a Buenos Aires y caminar por las calles. Pero también, pienso de mi tiempo en Barcelona hace tres años. Lo interesante es que, ahora estoy planeando un viaje a Europa, incluyendo Barcelona el próximo mes. Y luego, estoy planeando y buscando vuelos para mi viaje al fin del año a Buenos Aires, Argentina. Y entonces, no es extraño que estoy escuchando a las canciones de Gotan Project, ahorita.

Lo que es un poco mas interesante es que en un mes, también voy a ir a Italia otra vez (a Florencia y Bolonia) para practicar mi Italiano y en Argentina hay muchas personas que se hablan Italiano. Porque hace muchos años, algunas personas de Italia llegaron a Argentina para vivir. Y también, si ya lo sé, hace tres semanas conocí un hombre a mi grupo de Meetup en San José para Italiano que era de Argentina (hace 20 años) y vive aquí…y el habla español y italiano. Aun cuando yo hablo en Italiano, todavía (de vez en cuando) uso las palabras de español. Pero, almenos el puede entenderme. Yo no mas de pienso todas las conexiones con español y italiano para mi son muy interesante.

Pues, huelga decir, estoy muy excitado para ir a Europa y Argentina este año. Hasta entonces, quiero compartir la musica de Gotan Project. Puedes ver su video que se llama, “Diferente”, aqui. Disfrutalo!

En Inglés: I just returned home after another good dinner with my friend and teacher of Spanish, Delia. We have dinner each month to chat in Spanish and each time makes me feel much better, because I learn more and I am more comfortable with the language. But this time, I asked her a few questions about the lyrics of some songs I’ve recently been studying, including the lyrics of the disc Lunático by Gotan Project.

I bought this album three years ago while in Barcelona, Spain. Today and since then, I like this disc. The music is a from a group from Argentina and when I hear it, I dream that one day I can go to Buenos Aires and walk the streets. But also, I think of my time in Barcelona three years ago. The interesting thing is that now I’m planning a trip to Europe, including Barcelona next month. And then, I’m looking for flights and planning for my trip at the end of the year to Buenos Aires, Argentina. So no wonder that I am listening to the songs of Gotan Project now.

What is a little more interesting is that in a month, I will also go to Italy again (to Florence and Bologna) to practice my Italian and in Argentina there are many people who speak Italian. Many years ago, some people came to Argentina from Italy to live. And also, three weeks ago I met a man in my Meetup group in San Jose for Italian from Argentina (20 years ago) and lives here … and he speaks Spanish and Italian. Even when I speak in Italian, I still (occasionally) use the words of Spanish. But at least he can understand me. I just think all of the connections with Spanish and Italian for me are very interesting.
